Cajun Burger
Ingredients
- 3 Lbs 80/20 Coastal Plains ground beef
- Slap Ya Mama Cajun Seasoning
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- 1 Tbsp canola oil
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 pound bacon
- 2 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 Tbsp dark brown sugar
- 1/2 Lb sliced Cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Form ground beef into eight 1/3-pound patties; season both sides with Cajun seasoning.
- Toss sliced onions with canola oil and salt.
- Heat a flat-top grill to high. Sauté onions until caramelized and soft; set aside.
- Slice bacon into thirds and cook on the grill until crispy; set aside.
- Sear the burger patties on the grill.
- Assemble the burgers with caramelized onions, crispy bacon, and cheddar cheese.
